How to store it
We recommend keeping the truffle in the fridge(+2°C /+4°C), wrapped in kitchen paper and closed in a glass container. The paper must be changed every day because it absorbs excess humidity.
The fresh truffle is highly perishable and to enjoy it at its best it must be consumed within5 daysfrom receipt.
He is subject to a slight daily weight loss.
How to clean it
The truffle will arrive at your home already cleaned from excess earth.
Any residues should be eliminated just before consumption, washing it under cold water with a soft bristle brush. Then we recommend dabbing the truffle and drying it with absorbent kitchen paper.
What to have it for
The white truffle should be eaten raw, sliced with the special truffle slicer on basically neutral dishes, an essential basis for enhancing its articulated, intense and overwhelming aroma. Raw meat pounded with a knife, fried egg, tagliolini with egg, fondue are perhaps the best examples of how the scent of truffles can amaze.
