Who we are
We’re Giulia and Alex and we were fortunate enough to be born in Langhe, a unique area in the world that boasts not only breathtaking landscapes and prestigious vines but also the presence of the very rare white truffle.
Truffle, che passione!
After a first cautious approach to this prestigious jewel the nature generously gives us, we’ve fully understood the reason of its ever-growing and tireless success on the global market. We’re dealing with a underground mushroom with an inebriating scent. It is not cultivable and its growth process depends on the influence of the moon phase. Harvesting takes place mainly at night and is entrusted to the excellent sense of smell of a dog and to the know-how and the forbearance of its owner, the “trifulau” (truffle hunter).
The beginnings
Enthralled by the esoteric aura that distinguishes the truffle and determined to make our contribution to its enhancement, in 2016 we started to propose it to some restaurants in Turin. We both lived in this city since we were about to complete our university studies.

To dive into the world of the truffle business thrilled us so much that we pursued our activity by extending it to the area of Alba. Once developed a certain familiarity with this sophisticated product, we decided to get involved by moving forward to the design of a boutique.
